This was a straight forward flag to flag victory. The pit stop went smoothly, in fact I was so far in front that even though I stopped first I still came out in 3rd place. A first win in India.

My fastest lap of the race was 1.31.480.

I was now first in the championship ratings with 242 points 14 ahead of Mark Webber.

Williams were still 4th in the Constructors 160 points behind Red Bull.

Starting from 18th I knew I had to pass as many cars as I could before they got strung out. I was able to do this aided by the circuits two long straights. I did have a hiccup on the first lap when I spun off at the 1st bend.

By the time I pitted on lap 4 for fresh tyres I'd managed to climb to 4th. After the pit stop I was back in the pack however after they had all pitted I found myself in the lead.

I managed to hang to win my first Korean grand prix.

My fastest lap of the race was 1.43.683, my fastest of the weekend.

25 points towards the championship scored this weekend..

I was now first in the championship ratings with 217 points 1 ahead of Mark Webber.

Williams were still 4th in the Constructors 219 points behind Red Bull.

When the lights turned green I hit the front and attempted to build up a lead. Although I started on pole it was easier said than done. The largest gap I got was about 4 seconds between me and Button.

On the last lap disaster struck as I spun off the circuit. I got going again having lost just 3 places.

I tried hard in what remained of the final lap to catch up but this was impossible. I did pass one car to finish in 3rd.

My fastest lap of the race was 1.57.033.

I was second in the championship ratings with 192 points but now 9 behind.

Williams were still 4th in the Constructors 175 points behind Red Bull.

First problem encountered was that it was raining. I was gutted. I'd had no running in the wet on this circuit so my race confidence was at an all time low.

When the lights turned green I hit the front and attempted to build up a lead. By then end of lap 3 I'd only a 0.5 second lead over Alonso.

On lap 4 disaster struck as I spun off the circuit. I got going again having lost just a few places.

I tried hard in the remaining laps to catch up but this however this caused to make more mistakes. I hit the wall 2 more times before finishing in a lowly 11th position.

My fastest lap of the race was 1.57.033.

Zero points towards the championship scored this weekend..

I was second in the championship ratings with 177 points but now 23 behind.

Williams were still 4th in the Constructors 177 points behind Red Bull.

Qualifying 1 - 10 place grid penalty for causing a collision.

Starting from the back (22nd) I decided to go steady and get as far up the field as I could. This plan didn't last long as I managed to get past 4 cars at the first chicane and another 3 on the following lap.

With a smooth pit stop and a car at that chicane most laps I made my way to 6th by the end of lap 9 of the 11 laps.

On lap 10 disaster struck as I was punted off the circuit. More misery followed as I hit a car coming back on and received a 10 second penalty for the privilege.

I crossed the line in 10th however with the penalty this translated as 17th.

My fastest lap of the race was 1.32.510.

I was second in the championship ratings with 177 points but now 8 behind.

Williams were still 4th in the Constructors 144 points behind.

Starting from the back I decided to go steady and get as far up the field as I could. I managed to take 9 cars to get to 9th with 3 laps remaining. I was denied a points finish because I spun the car on laps 7, 8 and 9 (twice). Needless to say I finished last.

My fastest lap of the race was 1.54.783.

I was still leading the championship ratings with 177 points but now only 10 ahead.
