I started from 15th on the grid after taking my 10 spot grid penalty I'd earned in qualifying 1.

I managed to get up to 12th before I was called into the pits at the end of lap 4. That's when it all went wrong - I somehow managed to misjudge the pit lane entrance and slammed it into the wall!

I rejoined the race in 24th miles behind the leader.

Over the remaining 7 laps I did manage to get to 18th however this was the 2nd race with no points scored. Not a good start to the season.

I was 19th in the Championship with a total of zero points.

Having started from 18th on the grid my initial aim was to survive the first lap and then hopefully make my way through the pack.

I did survive the first lap intact but didn't make up any positions. Over the next four laps I began to pass the slower cars however this slow climb through the field was abated when making my pit stop I hit the pit wall!

Coming out of the pits I was last by a long way so it wasn't a surprise when two laps from the end the lead cars started to lap me.

I finished 24th and last at the checkered flag, not a very good start to the season.

After my costly judgement call in qualifying I had my work cut out for me in the race. I got a flying start and was able to pass a few cars on the first lap. The second lap was not so hectic and I was again able to pick a few off. By the end of the 3rd lap I was in the lead.

My pit stop was fast and clean so much so that it wasn't long before I was back in the lead.

I had a slight scare on the last lap when I spun off! It didn't make any difference as I managed to hold on to the lead!

Another win and the Championship!

My fastest lap of the race was 1.42.725.

25 points sealed the championship!

Starting from 18th I knew I had to pass as many cars as I could before they got strung out. I was able to do this aided by the circuits two long straights. I did have a hiccup on the first lap when I spun off at the 1st bend.

By the time I pitted on lap 4 for fresh tyres I'd managed to climb to 4th. After the pit stop I was back in the pack however after they had all pitted I found myself in the lead.

I managed to hang to win my first Korean grand prix.

My fastest lap of the race was 1.43.683, my fastest of the weekend.

25 points towards the championship scored this weekend..

I was now first in the championship ratings with 217 points 1 ahead of Mark Webber.

Williams were still 4th in the Constructors 219 points behind Red Bull.
